We have been designated a Community Hospital Comprehensive Cancer Care Center by the American College of Surgeons' Commission on Cancer.

Our multidisciplinary team of cancer physicians have been accepted into major, national cancer study groups that make the latest, most promising cancer treatments available to patients.
- Radiation Oncology
This service has met the rigorous standards for certification by the American College of Radiology. It is one of only four such services in the state to achieve this, and is the only one in the Charlottesville area.

All staff members are required to be board certified within five years of eligibility within their specialty.
