Becoming a big sibling is a big deal! This class brings children to our Family Centered Maternity Care Unit before the big day to get comfortable with the events surrounding their mother’s hospital stay and their new baby’s arrival. Age-appropriate information about safety, infant care and what to expect is provided. Registration is required, and there is a fee for this class. Being comfortable with the details of caring for a baby can give you an extra measure of confidence. This class is designed to prepare you for the care of your newborn. It includes bathing, feeding, infant stimulation and safety. It is suggested that expectant parents take the class together.
