Martha Jefferson Hospital's Digestive Care Center brings together the diverse medical specialties involved in diagnosing and treating disorders of the digestive system. Our board-certified gastroenterologists work closely with general surgeons, radiologists, pathologists and oncologists to coordinate treatment. Experienced, caring nurses provide personalized, quality care. Throughout the entire process of diagnosis and treatment, the patient's comfort and privacy is of the highest priority.

Because most of the procedures performed in the Digestive Care Center are non-surgical, an overnight stay is not usually required. The following day, a nurse will call each patient for follow-up care and to answer any questions.
